Dr. Beth Ross grew up in Central Illinois, where she earned her degree from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Driven by a passion for animal care, she completed an equine internship in Kentucky immediately following graduation, where she developed a deep interest in surgery. In 2003, she became board-certified in large animal surgery at the University of Pennsylvania New Bolton Center, and she has spent her career treating both large and small animals.
Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Ross and her husband, Dr. Mike Ross (also a veterinarian), are avid foodies and oenophiles who previously owned a popular wine bar in Wilmington, Delaware, for eight years. In 2021, they moved to the area with their children and have loved exploring the rich history, food, and wineries of the Hudson Valley. At home, they share their lives with two dogs, two cats, two horses, and 13 hens.
